Ginger-Garlic Paste
Updated: Dec 8, 2020
The easiest thing ever! Add a couple teaspoons whenever you're making a savory recipe in a pot(e.g. noodles, dumplings or even my pineapple fried rice recipe)!
This recipe really doesn't need me to talk about it much. It's a simple seasoning, of sorts, for whenever you're about to pan-fry or cook a meal(mostly Asian cuisine is where I use it). Some examples of where to use it are when cooking noodles, rice or even dumplings, if you want some extra flavor! I've even cooked burgers with it. My mom always makes it in a large quantity and freezes it in a box, so whenever we need it we can shave some off the frozen block and let it the flavor melt away in the pot!

Ginger - Garlic Paste
Ingredients:
1 cup garlic cloves, peeled
1 cup ginger, peeled and cut into chunks
Directions:
Combine everything in a blender and blend until a smooth paste. You may want to add a teaspoon of oil, and a pinch of salt. But DON'T ADD WATER; it'll be tricky to blend if you do.
Now just freeze it up and use whenever needed!
